Video: American Airlines Cargo President speaks on efforts to achieve NetZero by 2050 with the help of BioNatur Plastics

Greg Schwendinger, President of American Airlines Cargo speaks on "Cargo Mastermind" about American’s efforts to achieve NetZero by 2050 with the help of BioNatur Plastics.

“We historically have used traditional plastics. In the beginning of 2022 we began transiting to a company called BioNatur, which makes biodegradable plastic. We are now using BioNatur extensively across our operations. We’re using them at almost all of our hubs. We’re having conversations with many of our third party handlers across Europe to also move to this solution."

"What’s unique about Bionatur is its recyclable. If it doesn’t end up in our recycle program and it ends up in a landfill, it will still biodegrade in a landfill environment in 5-10 years," says Greg.
